REMINGTON® WIN IT WEDNESDAY 2018 OFFICIAL RULES

Official Rules Amended June 28, 2018

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, WIN IT WEDNESDAY GIVEAWAYS (“GIVEAWAY OR PROMOTION”). A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. ELIGIBILITY:This Giveaway is open only to U.S., D.C. and Canadian residents (excluding residents of the Province of Quebec) who are physically located in the U.S., D.C. or Canada (excluding residents of the Province of Quebec) and are the age of majority or older in their state or province at the time of entry. The Sponsor is Remington a division of Spectrum Brands, Inc. located at 3001 Deming Way, Middleton, WI 53562 (“Sponsor”).
   
   If you do not meet all of these requirements or any other eligibility requirements in these Official Rules, you are not eligible to win a prize. Employees, directors, officers and contractors of Sponsor and Sponsor’s advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter the Giveaway. The promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Chances of winning this Giveaway depend on the number of eligible entries and posts received during the Promotion Period (defined below).
2. TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY:The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. (CT), on June 28, 2018 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (CT), on December 31, 2018 (“Promotion Period”). To be officially entered for a chance to win, eligible entrants must go to the Win It Wednesdays tab on the Remington Ready Facebook page, complete the entry form at http://www.facebook.com/RemingtonReady?sk=app_340355629314196, and submit it or respond to a Facebook post identified as a “Win It Wednesday” post and linked to these Official Rules (“Participant”). Participants may enter the Giveaway once every seven days during the Promotion Period.
   
   In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Participant, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account from which it was sent or the Facebook account from which it was posted. The authorized account holder shall be the natural person to whom the applicable e-mail address or Facebook account has been assigned by the Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address or Facebook. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. All eligible entries and posts received will be entered in every subsequent weekly Giveaway drawing during the Promotion Period. Sponsor will select a total of one to fifteen winners each Wednesday during the Promotion Period, at random, using www.random.org. Sponsor reserves the right to use any entry in all print and electronic media (except where prohibited by law), and to edit it for brevity, content and clarity, all without compensation to the Participant.
   
   In order to be declared a winner, each selected Canadian Participant who is eligible for a prize will be required to confirm that he/she has correctly answered the mathematical skill-testing question below:
   
   Step 1: Multiply 300 x 500
   Step 2: Add 2500 to the answer from Step 1
   Step 3: Divide the answer from Step 2 by 4
   Step 4: Subtract 2000 from the answer to Step 3
   
   By entering this Giveaway, Canadian Participants acknowledge and agree that: (a) each voluntarily entered this Giveaway and (b) each will voluntarily give Sponsor his or her email address and if a winner, his or her mailing address and (c) he or she has the opportunity to opt out of receiving any subsequent notice from Sponsor and any of its affiliated and associated companies about their products and services.
3. PRIZES: A total of up to 260 prizes, one to fifteen each week, will be randomly awarded during the Promotion Period. The prizes will be determined by Sponsor and consist of a selection of Remington hair care, shave, groom, razor, accessories, and personal products each with an approximate retail value of $4.99-$250. The total value of all prizes will not exceed $4,999.99. All federal, state, provincial and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of each winner as are all costs, fees and expenses associated with accepting, receiving or using the prize. No cash alternative, transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for a prize is permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may post the winners’ first name and last initials on its Facebook page or other Sponsor social media. Prizes will be shipped no later than January 31, 2019.
4. AWARD OF PRIZES:The random selection of winners shall be final in all matters relating to the Giveaway. Sponsor will contact the winner via email or Facebook within seventy-two (72) hours (“Notice”). Neglecting to respond to the Notice with Participant’s full name, mailing address and email within twenty-four (24) hours of the Notice shall result in disqualification. In case of disqualification, another winner may be chosen at random at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The winners are subject to verification. Sponsor is not responsible for any change in Participant’s mailing address, e-mail address and/or telephone number. The decisions of the Giveaway’s judges (employees of Sponsor) shall be final in all matters relating to the Giveaway. If a winner is found to be ineligible or declines acceptance of a prize for any reason, an alternate prize winner may be selected at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. By entering this Giveaway and/or accepting a prize, each Participant consents (except where prohibited by law) to the reasonable use by Sponsor of his/her photograph, likeness and/or image, hometown address, contents of the entry form or post, photo and the name without further compensation for any future promotional activity, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is the official timekeeper.
5. CONDITIONS:By entering the Giveaway, Participant affirms that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges which are final. Participant confirms he or she voluntarily entered the Giveaway and voluntarily gives Sponsor his or her e-mail addresses and if Participant is selected as a winner he or she will give Sponsor his or her mailing address to receive a Prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or unintelligible entries, lost connections, miscommunications, failed transmissions, other technical difficulties or failures, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alternations of entry materials or for technical, network, telephone, computer hardware or software malfunctions of any kind or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information or the failure to capture any such information. Sponsor is not responsible for any change in Participant’s email address or mailing address. Further, Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to Participants or any other person's computer or device related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the Giveaway or for any electronic mail that is late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify this Giveaway or these Official Rules at any time for any reason including but not limited to any intervention with the Giveaway beyond the control of Sponsor. In such a circumstance, winners will be selected based on entries received before date of termination. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that in its sole discretion include tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner or have failed to agree to these Official Rules or Privacy Policy. Participants and winners agree to indemnify Sponsor and Facebook and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, parents and related companies from and against any and all claims, damages and liabilities of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize in connection with this Giveaway, including but not limited to participating in the Giveaway.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/GOVERNING LAW:IN NO EVENT SHALL FACEBOOK OR SPONSOR, OR THEIR PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, AND RELATED COMPANIES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASEES”) BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING, ATTORNEYS' FEES) OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY, THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE, LOSS OR MISDIRECTION OF ANY PRIZE, PARTICIPATION IN ANY GIVEAWAY RELATED ACTIVITIES OR ACCESS TO AND USE OF ANY INTERNET SITE, AND PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASEES FROM ANY SUCH CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION FROM ANY DAMAGE, INJURY, DEATH, LOSS OR OTHER LIABILITY EITHER AT LAW OR EQUITY WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, ASSERTED OR NOT ASSERTED THAT MAY ARISE FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATE TO PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY, OR THE AWARDING, ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE GIVEAWAY AND THE PRIZES ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY (EXCEPT FOR MANUFACTURERS’ WARRANTIES, IF ANY) OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
   
   This Giveaway will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules or provisions. Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in the Giveaway, Participants agree that (a) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Giveaway shall be resolved without any form of class action, (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively “Special Damages”), and (d) Participants hereby waive all right to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased.
   
   By entering this Giveaway, Canadian Participants acknowledge and agree that: (a) each voluntarily entered this Giveaway and (b) each will voluntarily give Sponsor his or her email address and if a winner, his or her mailing address and (c) he or she has the opportunity to opt out of receiving any subsequent notice from Sponsor and any of its affiliated and associated companies about their products and services.
7. CONSUMER INFORMATION:If you wish to receive a list of prize winners, or have any questions about the Giveaway, specify your request and write to: Remington Promotions: Win It Wednesdays, 3001 Deming Way, Middleton, WI 53562. Your request must be received no later than 30 days after the Giveaway is completed.
   
   Information collected from Participants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy which can be found at http://spectrumbrands.com/privacy/. However, by entering you elect to receive occasional updates, special offers and other information from Spectrum Brands, Inc. and its affiliated and associated companies about their products and services and agree your e-mail address may be shared with those companies. On any notice you receive, you will have the opportunity to choose not to receive any subsequent notices. Facebook Policies state at the time of the drafting of these Official Rules that Facebook is not collecting data from Participants and require that we give you notice of the same.
   
   Canadian Participants understand that their personal information will be retained by the Sponsor in the United States and that the United States governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies will be able to obtain disclosure of this information through the laws of the United States.
8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT: These terms set forth the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings relating thereto, whether oral or written. Facebook is not a sponsor, endorser, or administrator of this Giveaway. You are providing your information to Spectrum Brands, Inc. The information you provide will only be used as described in these Official Rules.
THIS GIVEAWAY IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
