NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THE REMINGTON BACK TO SCHOOL STYLE GIVEAWAY (“Giveaway” or “Promotion”). A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The Giveaway will commence on July 9th, 2020 at 9am CDT and end August 13, 2020 at 12pm CDT (“Promotion Period”). The Sponsor is Spectrum Brands, Inc., 3001 Deming Way, Middleton, WI 53562 (“Sponsor”). These Official Rules set forth the entire agreement between the Sponsor and the Participant (defined below) relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings relating thereto, whether oral or written. The Official Rules form a binding legal agreement between Participant (defined below) and the Sponsor with respect to the Giveaway. Sponsor is the official timekeeper.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Giveaway is open only to U.S. and District of Columbia residents (excluding residents of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands or U.S. Military bases), who are physically located in the U.S. or the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands or U.S. Military bases), are the age of majority or older in their state or District of Columbia at the time of entry, and have a valid e-mail account (“Entrants”).
   
   If you do not meet all of the eligibility requirements in these Official Rules, you are not eligible to win a prize. Employees, directors, officers and contractors of Sponsor, its affiliated entities, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter the Giveaway. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Chances of winning this Giveaway depends on the number of Participants (defined below).
3. HOW TO ENTER: An eligible Entrant who has agreed to these Official Rules and enters accordingly is a Participant (“Participant”). To enter the Giveaway and be eligible to win a prize, during the Promotion Period, the Entrant must complete and submit the entry form available at http://www.remingtonproducts.com/promotions/back-to-school-style-giveaway (a link to the entry form will also be posted on the Remington Facebook account). If using a mobile device to access the sites or to enter the Giveaway, data rates may apply. Please consult your mobile device carrier for more information regarding fees for accessing the sites to enter the Giveaway. Sponsor shall not be held liable for any fees imposed upon individuals for entering or attempting to enter the Giveaway via a mobile device. Sponsor shall also not be liable for omissions, deletions, delays, or defects in the ability to enter the Giveaway or to be selected as a Winner due to technical limitations or malfunctions of any kind.
   
   In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a Participant, posted entries will be deemed submitted by the person whose name is listed on the entry form. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, garbled, illegible or misdirected posted entries, or for any error, human, technical or otherwise, which occurs or may occur in accordance with the Giveaway. Proof of posted entry does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Sponsor. Multiple entries are acceptable.
   
   By entering the Giveaway, Participant warrants that he or she is the owner of the submitted entry and hereby grants to Sponsor a royalty free, irrevocable, perpetual and worldwide license to use, edit for brevity and clarity, and to display the entry with or without the Participant’s first name and last initial, without compensation of any kind or further notice to or approval from Participant or any third party. All information provided by Participants in connection with the Giveaway must not be copied or violate another’s intellectual property rights. Participants warrant that they own all rights, title, and interest to the materials they provide in connection with the Giveaway. Sponsor is not responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of any entry or for any intellectual property infringement by Participants in relation to the Giveaway.
4. HOW THE WINNER IS SELECTED: Six winners total will be selected over the Promotion Period. One winner will be randomly selected each week (one each on July 9th, July 16th, July 23rd, July 30th, August 6th and August 13th) by an employee or employee(s) of Sponsor. The random selection shall be final in all matters relating to the Giveaway. The winner will be subject to verification and be contacted via email at the email address listed in their submission where he or she entered (“Notice”). The winnermust reply to such email with his/her full name, physical address and email address within 72 hours after the Notice is sent or be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. In case of disqualification, another winner may be chosen at random at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
5. PRIZE: Each winner will receive one Remington Damage Protection Hair Dryer, one Remington Anti-Static Straightener (Choice of 1” or 2”), and one Remington Ceramic Clipped Curling Iron (Choice of Models D3190, S5500 (1”), S5520 (2”), Cl5019(3/4”), Cl5025 (1”), or l5032 (1 ¾”)) (“Prize”), which will be shipped no later than eight (8) weeks after the selection and verification of all winners. The retail value of all Prizes given away in relation to this Giveaway is approximately $360 USD (approximately $60 USD per Prize). All federal, state, provincial and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of the winner as are all costs, fees and expenses associated with accepting, receiving or using the Prize. No cash alternative, transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for the Prize is permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor may post the winners’ first name and last initial on its social media pages.
   
   Sponsor is not responsible for any change in Participant’s physical address or e-mail address. If a winner is found to be ineligible or declines acceptance of the Prize for any reason, an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion. By entering this Giveaway and/or accepting the Prize, each Participant consents (except where prohibited by law) to the reasonable use by Sponsor of his/her photograph, likeness and/or image, hometown address, and first name and last initial without further compensation or acknowledgement for any future promotional activity, unless prohibited by law.
6. CONDITIONS: By entering the Giveaway, Participant affirms that he or she has read and agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final. Participant confirms he or she voluntarily entered the Giveaway and voluntarily gives Sponsor his or her e-mail addresses and if Participant is selected as a winner he or she will give Sponsor his or her physical address to receive the Prize.
   
   Further, Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to Participant’s or any other person's computer or device related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials relative to the Giveaway or for any electronic mail that is late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify the Giveaway or these Official Rules at any time for any reason including but not limited to any intervention with the Giveaway beyond the control of Sponsor. In such a circumstance, a winner or winners will be selected based on responses received to the date and time of termination. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify posted entries that in its sole discretion include tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in a disruptive manner or have failed to agree to these Official Rules or Privacy Policy.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/GOVERNING LAW: IN NO EVENT SHALL SPONSOR, FACEBOOK, OR THEIR PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, AND RELATED COMPANIES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE "RELEASEES”) BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES (INCLUDING, ATTORNEYS' FEES) OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT AND WHETHER BASED ON NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF THE ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY, THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE, LOSS OR MISDIRECTION OF THE PRIZE, PARTICIPATION IN ANY GIVEAWAY RELATED ACTIVITIES OR ACCESS TO AND USE OF ANY INTERNET SITE, AND PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE RELEASEES FROM ANY SUCH CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DEMANDS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION FROM ANY DAMAGE, INJURY, DEATH, LOSS OR OTHER LIABILITY EITHER AT LAW OR EQUITY WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, ASSERTED OR NOT ASSERTED THAT MAY ARISE FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATE TO ENTRY OR PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY, OR THE AWARDING, ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE GIVEAWAY AND THE PRIZE ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY (EXCEPT FOR MANUFACTURERS’ WARRANTIES, IF ANY) OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
   
   The Giveaway will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of laws rules or provisions. Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in the Giveaway(s), Participants agree that (a) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with these Giveaways shall be resolved without any form of class action, (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively “Special Damages”), and (d) Participants hereby waive all right to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased.

   Information collected from Participants is subject to Spectrum’s Privacy Policy which can be found at https://spectrumbrands.com/privacy-policy.html Facebook states that they are not involved in the collection, gathering, or retention of information collected from Participants in the Giveaway. By posting an entry you elect to receive occasional updates, special offers and other information from Sponsor and its affiliated and associated companies about their products and services and agree your e-mail address may be shared with those companies. On any notice you receive, you will have the opportunity to choose not to receive any subsequent notices.
   
   Facebook is not a sponsor, endorser, or administrator of the Giveaway. You are providing your information to Sponsor. The information you provide will only be used as described in these Official Rules.
THIS GIVEAWAY IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
