London Edition T|Studio Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Hair Setter 3.8 5 33 33
Not good I ordered these because the kf20 was discontinued. I do not like these at all they are very narrow not user friendly hard to put on your hair, etc. I will find another brand of product to purchase, I totally wasted the $50.00 I spent on these, I used them 5 times, then put then in the trash. April 26, 2013
what happened?? My set is fairly new and I have loved it-until... I pluged it in and came back a Few minutes later and a curler and the clip had melted! I hope this does not happen often. I really liked it until this happened. March 20, 2013
Don't see the hype I have used hot rollers several times in my life. Having natural body and curl in my caucasian hair already, 95% of the time hot rollers take to my hair easily with nice results. I just don't get the hype of these rollers. I got them on sale and hoping that I can return them to the store I got them from. I have never, and I mean NEVER had a set where only half of the curlers set my hair while the other did nothing but pull hair straight. I heated up using 90 seconds per claim; I got one "bump" in my hair and the rest was bone straight. Second time I heated them longer (closer to 7 minutes to ensure clips heated as well because 90 seconds left them lukewarm at best). I got half my hair to actually take a curl while the other still was straightened instead of curling. I tried other attempts by rearranging size of curlers and made sure I was not using any products with silicone since that hinders how a curl takes to your hair. This last attempt....well my bed head looked better before I touched this system. I tried on clean hair and day old hair. And nothing. Tried my other "cheap" set by a competitor and I'll be darned if I didn't get the results I have NOT gotten with this set. I guess I better stick to the other brand since they are known for their hair products. Until Remington can make something similar, I will not be buying another product. February 15, 2013
Purchased for gift I purchased this for a gift for Christmas. The person I gave it to has not made any comment yet as to how they liked it. She certainly was happy when she opened it. January 8, 2013
Love these rollers!!!! I have an extremely thick head of hair which is ALWAYS troublesome to find products that work with and for it. Most rollers I've tried in past only curl the first 2 to 3 inches of hair at the roller, these actually curled SO well!! LOVE them and hope they last a very long time. Thank you so much Remington! December 4, 2012
Love love love!! I have very long, thick and straight hair... These are the best!! Heat up super fast and get the job done! Looked at a few different sites for these, and found them the cheapest at walmart for $34. I am super impressed with my hair after I use them!! November 28, 2012
These are truly the best My original set was giving as a gift from my hair stylist. I have very straight hair and hate it. Faithfully for 6 years I have used this curling system. It gives my hair volume and the curls I seek. It is also healthy, heat to cool is good for your hair, no breakage. I have bleached hair so this is important to me. I ordered a new set (the original is still working) and am still impressed. Price is more then affordable. Product is very durable. I take it even on all vacations. Only suggestion is to put back the on-off switch. I still wouldnt buy another set. Preformance is awesome. Time to heat- minutes- takes me less then 15 minutes from start to finish. Love them- please don't ever discontinue November 4, 2012
needed new hot rollers! when I askd my hairdresser which hot rollers to buy, she exuberantly said these..they work great, take a short time heat up, easy to put back into their heating coils and do the job. Only drawback is that the container itself takes up a lot of space in my closet, have just been using them for a couple of weeks now, but very simple, very efficient, would recommend. Answer:
It's probably best right away, but sometimes I do the next day and it doesn't look as good, but it's still nice. However, I'd be weary of purchasing Remington hair curlers. I was disappointed in purchasing this product since it broke a few months after I purchased. I'd shop around. Curlers are great but you shouldn't have to buy them twice a year. Find a product that lasts.

Answer:
Hello Mandy. That would depend entirely on your hair. If your hair is extremely oily, you wouldn't want to wash it one day and set it the next. Oily hair won't curl as well, and may leave a residue on the velvet surface of the rollers. Clean hair that is dry is best for setting.

Thank you for your message. Our rollers are only tested on freshly cleaned and dried hair. However, with everyone's hair type being different we would recommend using your best judgement when using the rollers. This may take a few tries to determine the best results. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Answer:
I have never had crimp marks. Start with the roller at the end of the hair.
Lay the end of the hair smoothly against the roller.
Roll the roller under down the hair to the root.

Answer:
Generally, you need to take extra care smoothing the hair around the roller, ensuring its smooth whe the hair touches the roller. Alternatively, you can use end papers, a giant pain, but they work. If you're using pin style fasteners, try the clamp style.

No, this is even better. This uses automatic heat from plugging it into a wall outlet. The rollers heat up in 90 seconds exactly. They are very warm, but not to the point of burning your fingers. Trust me you won't ever have to use a curling iron again. Your hair will turn out great!

Answer:
YES, it will accommodate the larger rollers in place of the small ones. I tried it. Bought a second set of rollers for that purpose because I don't use the small ones, only the large ones. I took the large ones out of the new set and removed the small ones, fit them in and they fit perfectly. No problem with anything being too tight a fit. So enjoy using all the large rollers in the set, it will heat them all beautifully and without any problems of encroachment. They fit like they were made to go there!

Answer:
Hi, I don't have the extra rollers yet, but I plan on getting them for the same purpose you seem to be thinking of... On my rollers, I can put the 1 1/4 rollers on any of the heating levels, so I think they would fit if you're talking about fitting on the heating mechanism... but if you're wondering if all twelve 1 1/4 extra rollers will fit in the setter in place of the original 8 1" rollers, I'd say no. You'd only be able to fit 8 of the extra, so you'd have 20 1 1/4" rollers heating at the same time. Hope this somehow answers your question!

Answer:
Thank you for your message. When heated with the clip on the rollers, neither the roller nor clip should not reach temperatures above 250oF and should be around 230oF on average. The temperature of the rollers heated without the clip will be slightly lower as the clip helps to retain heat longer.
