I have thin hair and I can say that I am presently impressed with the hot rollers. It gives my hair a lot of body. The only negative that I can say is that I would have liked smaller rollers, a on and off switch and the clip to be a little tighter. All in all this is a good product that heats up fast. I would purchase this as a gift.

Sorry to say that I am in the process of returning the set. The clips do not hold the roller in place well. They flop forward and back on your head and leave a crease in my hair...

No, I do not recommend this product.

This THE very best set of electric rollers out there ~ ~ ~of ANY brand!
(I have or have had them all!!)
The clips are great. I love how they fit the roller even during storage!
Unlike the other style of wire clips these hold the roller in place better.
The time for the set to heat is just as they claim = 90 seconds!
My hair is unbelievably shiney after removing the rollers.
Now if Remington would only come up with these rollers in a travel version with at least 6 - 8 of the large rollers with butterfly style clips that store on the roller I would be ecstatic!

No. I have used this for several weeks and there are no kink marks in my hair. You need to make sure when you roll your hair that it is pretty sraight on the roller.

Variations in model number

I had a set of the H-2050 a couple of years ago, broke the case, and recently ordered a new one. Even though it's the same model number, there are various differences:
1. Origina set had pink rollers, this set is Silver
2. Original had an on/off switch. This set only has an inidcator light, no switch.
3. Original rollers had metal plates in the clips. This set does not.

Were these meant for selling in Wal-Mart stores (since they don't have the metal plates or power switch)?
How many different variations are there?
If I want a set with the metal plates in the clips and an on/off switch, is there any indication in the model number or on the box that will let me know which one I am getting?

Thank you for your message. The switch and metal clips were removed from the rollers, this type of clip is no longer available. Our products are sometimes offered in different color variations, this does not effect its performance. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
