Awesome Product Just bought this iron from my local WM and I love it! 1st use was on dry hair, it worked very well. The next day I washed my hair and let it air dry for about 5 mins and then used the straightener. It works fantastically with wet hair. Don't be alarmed if you hear weird noises when using it on wet hair. That's the iron doing it's job removing all the water. I think the Soy Complex helps with smoothing as well because I have kinky rough hair and it looked really smooth and shiny after straightening. The next day everyone was asking if I got a haircut or if I did something different... I highly recommend this product! April 9, 2013

Fabulous Product/Excellent Customer Service I received this product as a gift, and I loved it! Unfortunately, after about 3-4 weeks, the LED light was turning off after being powered on for about 5 minutes therefore producing no heat. The great news is, I called the number included in the Use & Care Guide and the Customer Service Representative informed me that a replacement would be sent to me, I would receive it in 7-10 days, and to cut the cord on the defective one and throw it out. I received the replacement in 7 days, and haven't had any issues yet. I would definitely recommend this flat iron! March 13, 2013

Flat Iron Works great! I can have my mostly straight hair hair looked polished in a minute or two. I can create a sleek straight or slightly curved look quickly. Loved it so much I bought one for my daughter after she started using mine and discovered how much she liked it too. It should work great on really curly hair too. I like the auto shut off feature and temperature control as well. Great quality! March 12, 2013

Dead after 38 days Light comes on, but no longer heats after 38 days of use. Previous iron from other mfr lasted 8 years. Not sure whether to exchange/2nd chance or refund. February 28, 2013

BEST STRAIGHTENER! BEATS ALL THE EXPENSIVE ONES! I bought a few different very expensive straighteners for my curly hair and the wet to straight litterally took me 10 minutes which normally takes me forever! i used to have to straighten my hair at night after washing it and in the morning but with this i dont do that. never felt my hair so soft before either. for $28 its a great deal. Im soooo happy with this product. its a lifechanger...lol when u have kids and cant spend alot of time on your hair this product makes it fast and easy. cant live without it. thanks for making an amazing straightener remington! not good wont even turn on!!! I am so mad. Out of all the products out there this one looked so nice. I should have picked the other ones because i am sure they would have worked and I could have done my hair. What does the wet/dry indicator do?

We have never been able to get the light to show "green." Does this light just indicate whether hair is wet or dry, or is it a different setting? There were no directions in the box.
