Thank you for your message. The curl slides extend out to ½ inch but the curls achieved are different than a curling iron, they tend to be a bit looser and more natural. As the slides are moved out the curl becomes very loose beach wave type curl. For users not familiar with curling with a straightener there can be a learning curve to get the proper slow and consistent pull technique down.
