This flat iron is a piece of junk. I used to have the 2" flat iron like this one, but it was discontinued, so I wanted to buy the same one in hopes of getting the same results, but I was very disappointed. It feels like it's ripping your hair out when you use it. It doesn't have a temperature setting and you can only choose between wet or dry. It doesn't get hot enough. I've had a major increase in split ends. It makes my hair static and frizzy. This is not the straightener to get for long, thick hair. It takes me an hour to straighten my hair, and who has that kind of time? I'm throwing it away and getting a different brand.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I got this a couple years ago for my birthday and last winter i used it every other night, I have super thick hair like unbelievably thick and it takes me between 20 to 60 mins depending how lazy im being, great investment:)

I am a hair stylist and I have spent a lot of money on big name brand flat irons. I have retired all of them!!! This is the one of best investments I ever made. I bought it at Walmart about 4 years ago for $24.99 and it is still kicking and making me lots of money. Leaves hair so shiny and healthing looking, truely a great tool. Thrilled it is $19.99. A MUST BUY!!

Do you manufacture a mini wet-to-straight?

I've owned a Remington Wet-to-Straight flat iron for somewhere around 5 years, now, and I love it. I've recently noticed that Remington is selling mini hair straighteners, and I was wondering if the Wet-to-Straight is available in a travel size. If not, will one be available anytime soon? When my hair gets damp from humidity, sweat, etc., it's difficult to get it to go straight again with anything but the Wet-to-Straight because the moisture just makes it... uncooperative.
