It says this flat iron reaches 400F but unless mine is defective it feels like it doesn't even go to 200F. I have thick really curly hair that needs 400F to get straight but this flat iron does not do it for me. I decided to keep it though because it is such a great deal (i got mine a little cheaper on clearance at Target) so I can take it traveling that way if it gets lost or broken i won't care. But there are way better flat irons out there. This is for a person with thin straight hair.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I just received this product in the mail and it is SO adorable. i took it out of the packaging it was in and turned it on to see if it heated up fast and in less than 20 seconds it heated up to its maximum temperature of 410 degree Farenheit. Overall i tested it on a couple of strands of my hair and it straightened really fast with just one time i passed it through and i even tried to curl my hair, which it did without hassle. This product looks to be a very good one and the price cant be beat. it has a 2 year limited time warranty which i love and i could compare this to my CHI straightening iron which broke. So far this has been a good replacement and i am happy. will DEFENITELY purchase from this brand again!!

Is this hair straightener able to be used with wet hair?

Just wondering if this is possible, to straighten hair right out of the shower. Some are able to do that and I wanted to know if this is one of them.

I would HIGHLY recommend NOT using this product on wet hair. This is not a wet to dry flat iron. There would probably be a very high risk of being shocked.
