Good Product this product is really effective. I use it almost everyday, however, the heat-resistant glove is NOT heat resistant at all. I had to find that out the hard way. Other than that I would still buy it if I were you. My curls last all day. April 25, 2013

Small Curls This is a very beautiful curling wand. I love the appearance of the baby pink contrast with black handle and blue digital #s. It heats fast. You can set a lock on a desire temperature. It's very light, yet well built. Comes with a four year warranty. Curls hair within 10 seconds. Affordable price. Now the cons, the cord is short. I prefer to have long cord. The wand is small. i just got this curling wand about 2 weeks ago, and i have only used it twice.. and when i finished curling my hair the second time i used it .. it wouldn't turn off when i pressed the "on/off" button for about 3 seconds, so i just took out the plug, and now when i press the "on" button to turn it on.. it won't turn on anymore, i've even held it for more then 3 seconds to see if it would turn on, but it just won't turn on anymore, and this product is brand new.

I had the exact same problem! I tryed nearly every outlet in my house and nothing worked. I returned mine to Target and ordered one from Amazon...now it works fine! Good luck!

Thank you for your inquiry. There are 9 temperature settings to this curling iron, ranging from 130-210°C (266-410°F). For fine to medium hair the range of temperatures you should stick to is 1-5. Start at a low temperature and test on a small piece of hair. You can adjust accordingly.

I have heard great things about this wand... I have been searching for it in stores for weeks. Target and Walmart both still have places for it on their shelves but keep telling me they can't get it in stock right now, and they don't know why or when they will be able to get it. I have been to 2 Target stores and 2 Walmart stores within my area. I really don't want to buy a different brand, but this is getting ridiculous. Any info would be appreciated??

Yes. I took very small sections while using this product to curl my hair and it worked great. Since you have thinner hair you might consider using a hair oil before curling but the curls from this wand stay for a very long time which will help :)
