Just another dissatifed customer... I had come to trust the Remington wet/dry shaver from a previous one I had owned. It lasted several years and provided an excellent shave! The results were better and the shaver was more cost efficient than your traditional razors. Given this, one might understand how disappointed I was when I purchased the Smooth and Silky Rechargeable Shaver to replace the old one I had. With my "new" Remington, I have to go over the same spot several times. This not only takes me longer to shave, but also makes my legs extra dry #regardless of the Aloe Vera strip#. At first, I thought it was a defective shaver, so I called customer service and they sent me a replacement. The second shaver doesn't work any better. After reading these reviews, I am relieved that I am not the only one experiencing these issues. I wish Remington would revisit the engineering and design of the wet/dry shavers. Their previous model #WDF3500# was superior. I would go back to using it except that I can't find the replacement pieces. June 17, 2013
I wasted my money I had a Remington before it was excellent lasted years and did a good job but THIS ONE I can go over and over on the same spot and just not work fine I am very disappointed June 1, 2013
WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Rarely do I return products to the store after use. But with this razor, it stopped cutting hair after 4 months of weekly use! I read the reviews before I bought it and thought people were exaggerating. Not so! From the beginning I had to pass over a spot minimum 3 times to get all the hair cut. Little by little I noticed I had more hairs that were getting longer and longer. Why? The razor was not cutting as well. One time I had to pass over a hair 17 times to get it cut! That's when I took it back to the store. I have now purchased another razor for half the price and it only takes 1 pass to remove the hairs. May 19, 2013
This razor is junk Do not buy this razor. It is junk. Went over the same spots 4-5 times with no results. I have owned multiple Remington razors over the past 20+ years and I was expecting the same quality I have experienced in the past. What a disappointment. Very Disapointed I buy this razor thinking Remington is good quality and will work great...Wrong! I throw away the packaging and receipt and finally get around to using it about a week later. It doesn't even shave. I have to go over each area many many times...it even pulls hairs at times. It is now just taking up space on my counter...what a waste of money this was for me. Contact your local Remington service center or shaver repair company for a replacement cord. You should bring your shaver with you to assure the end to be plugged into the shaver matchs the cord. You may also order the cord from Remington direct. Consult the instruction material provided with the shaver.

Hi,

I recently purchased this shaver and have used it a few times already in the shower with shaving gel. The first couple of times the shaver worked great but the most recent time I used it, it pulled at my hairs. I examined the shaver foils but they look fine and the only thing I noticed was that the flexible trimmer can be pushed down when attached to the shaver and when I turn it on it springs back up. When I take off the shaving head the flexible trimmer is popped up and can be pushed down but it will spring back up. I don't recall if this is what it was like when I initially used it. Can you please let me know if the flexible trimmer is supposed to be like this and if so, what the problem may be of why it's pulling at the hairs?

The shaver should have had a cord supplied one end to plug into the shaver and the other into a 110 volt out. Depending upon the model the charging time will very. Most often over night approximately 12 hours. Some shaves have a 2 hour charge but my me charged over longer periods of time. Usually once a month the longer charge is recommended after completely exhausting the power of the shaver battery.
