My fiancee bought this for me, as he loves his electric razor. I, having OCD, immediately opened, and threw away all packaging. It worked great for about 3 months. It charges great, but even though I have very fine hair, after 6 months, even if I run it over the same spot multiple times, it simply does not shave hair. There's an $8 shaver called click that works better - and it is worth the money. It only lasts about a month, but hey, you get what you pay for. This Remington is ridiculous. I'm now pregnant and standing in the shower and using a regular razor is too difficult. Remington will not have the opportunity to dissappoint again. Everytime I look at it I want to go Office Space on this piece of garbage! I need it to work & it won't!!

I purchased my remington titanium shaver @ Meijer in Fort Wayne indiana. My father had a remington. I have cancer and have lost alot of weight. So it is very hard to use a regular hand shaver because of my face being so thin. After 3 shaves the blades were dull and it does not give the close shave that it did on the first shave. i will NOT buy replacement blades because I paid $40.00 for this thing and it should have lasted longer that 3 shaves. I have no receipt, no packaging to return it so I am STUCK. Do not buy this product.

I have had this razor about 1 month and have several issues with it. 1st the on/off button is 2 stage, you must hold the white button in and push the purple button up at the same time. This is very difficult to do for older women with weak hands. The shaving action pulls and does not do a good job of cleaning the legs. After removing the top to clean the head it is almost impossible to replace it. I tried for 15 minutes before turning it over to my husband who finally got it back on after 10 minutes. Really, it shouldn't be that difficult should it? I would not recommend for women over 50.

Well, since I never used an electric razor/shaver before, I thought it might be the answer to some of my skin irritation, time consumption, and overall hassles of regular razor use. I was wrong.
Now, I tried using this for a couple of weeks to give it a chance, but no matter what I do differently with it (blade angle, pressure, wet, dry) I get the same results. Those results are either half-trimmed hairs, whole patches of nearly untouched hairs (no matter how many times I go over an area!). Even the areas that are 'shaved' still look and feel stubbly. When I used the shaver dry, my skin looked red, something that never happened with my normal razor.
The results were that I expected from the $8 razor to the left on the shelf of this one. I purposefully went with a 'good' name brand's mid-price range model. I was disappointed.
Every time I tried to shave using this shaver, I ended up in the shower using my old style one to clean up everything the Smooth and Silky shaver left behind.
Purchasing this shaver was a huge disappointment to my old hopeful self.

When I first got the product, I used it while dry and it worked great. I liked the smooth feel to my legs and I hadn't even went over the area more than once. Unfortunately, when I attempted to use this wet, it burned my skin and tugged on the skin with every glide. I was left with red, agitated skin and after three days, I am still unable to use a regular razor to shave. I will continue to use this product while using it dry, but will not use in bath &/or shower again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Overall, it's not a bad shaver. You just have to go over the hairs more than once compared to a regular shaver that gets in contact with the hair at the root.

Have had this shaver for about 6 months now. Performance is only so-so. Have to run it over the hair on my legs & underarms many times for it to completely take off the hair. It misses a lot of spots on my underarms which is not usual for me with an electric shaver.
My hair is not very coarse or thick so I would have expected better results. I have been disappointed with this product so far.
Previously had another Remington shaver so have been pretty satisfied with the brand before.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Answer:
Contact your local Remington service center or shaver repair company for a replacement cord. You should bring your shaver with you to assure the end to be plugged into the shaver matchs the cord. You may also order the cord from Remington direct. Consult the instruction material provided with the shaver.

Is the flexible trimmer supposed to spring up?

Hi,

I recently purchased this shaver and have used it a few times already in the shower with shaving gel. The first couple of times the shaver worked great but the most recent time I used it, it pulled at my hairs. I examined the shaver foils but they look fine and the only thing I noticed was that the flexible trimmer can be pushed down when attached to the shaver and when I turn it on it springs back up. When I take off the shaving head the flexible trimmer is popped up and can be pushed down but it will spring back up. I don't recall if this is what it was like when I initially used it. Can you please let me know if the flexible trimmer is supposed to be like this and if so, what the problem may be of why it's pulling at the hairs?

Thanks.

Answer:
The shaver should have had a cord supplied one end to plug into the shaver and the other into a 110 volt out. Depending upon the model the charging time will very. Most often over night approximately 12 hours. Some shaves have a 2 hour charge but my me charged over longer periods of time. Usually once a month the longer charge is recommended after completely exhausting the power of the shaver battery.
