Favorite hair dryer For the money, you can't beat this dryer. Not so loud, strong air flow, and generally great for my hair. I have medium/fine hair, but a lot of it. So, it usually takes a while to dry my hair, but not as long as a woman with very thick hair. I'm just very happy with it, and it's lasted me over 5 years. I'm going to buy another one when this one burns out. April 29, 2013

This hair dryer dries your hair in no time! My daughter has this hair dryer and kept telling me to try it. I did and then she told me to get my own. I do not like drying and styling my hair but with this dryer it is a breeze. The airflow is strong making drying quicker and this gives my hair a straight smooth finish. Best hair dryer I've ever owned! Oh my gosh!!! I have naturally crazy curly hair that requires serious tension and control to straighten. Many dryers frizz my hair and I must struggle to smooth the frizz out, but not with this hair dryer! It goes smooth without frizz and it holds in moisture deep within the hair shaft creating amazing smoothness! It's truly incredible! So, what makes this dryer different than all the others? It MUST be the pearl ceramic. I will be ordering a second for back up, because I cannot imagine going without it EVER! My hair has never felt so healthy and beautiful in my life! It feels lighter than others with the same strong air flow. It's not super light, like some of the others with a lighter air flow (and louder motor).

I only saw ~125V written on the handle of the dryer; does this mean it cannot handle voltages above 125? Will I need to buy one of those bulky voltage converter cubes in order to use it on my trip to Poland, or can I get away with a simple plug converter without voltage conversion?

Positive Ions?

Why would you say this hair dryer emits tons of positive ions? Its Negative ions that are good for your hair, Positive ions make it frizzy and dull. Was this a typo?

How do you clean the lint filter?

All other blowdryers I've had, the gaurd over the fan in the back came off to clean the lint filter. However, this one does not turn off, nor does it have a hinge opening. How do you clean the lint filter? The blowdryer is starting to smell dirty and I don't want to burn it out. Please advise.

I'm on my 2nd TIStudio hair dryer. It seems to get hotter than the 1st one & occassionally emitts a green flash of light. I lowered it to the medium setting & I'm still seeing this flash. I didn't notice this with the 1st one. Other than this, the TIStudio has been my favorite dryer.

Answered my own question by reading the rest of the Q & A's. I didn't realize the filter was clogged because of the thick black mesh cover. Pulled it off & used an old toothbrush to clean it & voila......good as new. It didn't get too hot or flash green & dried my hair faster. Love this dryer.
