Combo curling/flat iron As a flat iron, I love this product. I have fine hair and the teeth help reach closer to the roots. It is one of the best straighteners that I have used. However, because I have fine hair, I don't like it completely straight because there is not enough fullness so I like to have a waves also. The curling feature of this iron is too rigid for me. You begin the curl with the flat part of the iron which does not give me the loose waves that I think look better on me. I would love for this iron to be reconstructed to begin the curl process on the round part of the iron. I would also love a bigger curl - 1 1/2 inches. May 15, 2013

I like the way the iron is made. I like the way the iron is made because you can change the size of the curl you want just by moving the black parts of the iron. I really enjoy using it, it makes my hair looks very nice and works fairly easily once you get the idea of how to wrap the curls!! Thank-You also for the heat proof bag!!!! May 5, 2013

Amazing product I have had this product for like a week or more now and I love it. It curls very well and I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. I usually don't curl my hair a lot but I think it works better if your hair is easy to curl like mine. But I think it's a very good product and curls very well. January 17, 2013

All-in-one best hair styler! My hair is thick and since I've had wavy, frizzy hair since the 7th grade I've always needed to straighten my hair. The straightener works great. When you use it for the first time I'd recommend only setting it to setting 12/30 or lower because it does get VERY hot the first few times you use it. It did take me a few tries to learn how to used the curling part of it, but I got it to work and I was impressed with how well the curls turned out. The video on this website helps you learn how to use the curling tool if you have any trouble. The price was great because its a lot cheaper than if you were to get a durable straightener and a separate durable curling iron. Good job, Remington! January 2, 2013

Average i must say i had high expectations from this product so maybe that's why i'm a bit disappointed. The straightening iron is ok, does the job, but i find it difficult to make curls. I'm under the impression it was designed for more experienced users and it's not my case. What a shame! December 23, 2012

Good straightener, but won't curl my hair :( I bought this combo because I was in need of a new straightener, but I also wanted to try to curl my hair. I figured this product would be the best route to go, to save money since it's a 2 in 1. Well only one of the two work. I am VERY disappointed with it. Perfect for the inexperienced I just tried out this iron today but I love it already. It will get some getting used to for me as I hardly ever curl my hair. I've never been able to find a tool that didn't burn me or frustrate me bc it would leave creases. So I usually gave up and stuck with my fine thin ponytails. I'm so excited that now I have a few more options with styling my hair. The tip of the iron is barely warm to touch, which is great bc you don't burn your fingers as you're working with it. But the iron itself gets pretty hot, so be careful touching your hair. The other awesome features are that it heats up in under 1 min AND it auto shuts off after 60mins...I always forget to turn off appliances and now I don't have to worry about it all day!
