Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Remington I have Owned I have used Remington for many years, and this is the best I have used for quick and close shave. Quieter than all I have had, but still some noise, but easily ignored for the great shave. Got it at Walmart for the same price as here at Remington, but have seen them on sale there, since, for Ten Dollars Cheaper. Great Buy at either price, in my estimation. Good job Remington. The replacement blades, thus far have to come from Remington, but at $20 for both foil and blades, once or twice a year is a good deal, compared to what many shavers and replacements sell for. Hopefully Walmart will start carrying the replacements, if the shaver is a good seller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad shave for the price, but poor quality. I purchased this to replace my old Remington which I had for almost 8 years. The shave with this product is good, however not as good as with my old razor which had three foils instead of two and a middle cutter. My big complaint is with the quality, as every time I take off the cover to clean it, the blades pop out of the head and fall into the sink. This happens every time. Instructions say to tap the cutter; the blades fall out. It says to brush the cutters; they fall out. Even when running water on them, they fall out. Definitely not engineered as well as the older Remington that I had. I am disappointed with the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lose the Head Clippers I've always used Remington electric shavers, for the past 30 years. Why did you insert the middle row of mini-clippers, vice staying with 100% foil? Those new mini-clippers provide mini-cuts along my lips. It also causes more irritation on my face. I'm not sure how much longer I can use this "new and improved" design. Please go back to the 100% foil head design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from average performance I've purchased 4 Remington razors since my first Remington, the MS290. I have been disappointed with each one since my MS290. You would think the newer models would continue to improve on how close a shave you get - isn't that why we use shavers. However every model I've purchased since the MS290, does not give as close a shave. It's difficult to believe a 20 year old shaver continues to outperform their newer models. I've rated the F5 as average. The battery lasts a long time - that's the best i can say about this razor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice features, good price Purchased this razor to replace my old DA 307. Replacement cutters were expensive and since it did not hold change very well it was time to replace it. New F5 is quiet, ado goes a long time on a charge. Not sure about the center cutter, need to be careful around your upper lip. I purchased a spare cutter at the same time. When shaving the upper lip. it seems like the blade is dull. Have to shave sideways or down. Will have to try new blade to see if it works better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from last Remington Shaver I will Buy I have always used Remington shavers and have had good luck with them. This one doesnt cut as close, the blade cover is starting to come loose like other people have mentioned and drops more shaver trimming on you than my old one did. Buy a machete instead, cheaper, will give you a closer shave, not break and you can still use it in the woods to cut brush.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing After Only Two Months I bought this razor a couple of months ago and was very pleased with it at first. Recently, however, I noticed it was very noisy and not shaving as closely as before. That was when I noticed that the cause of this is that the part of the head that holds the foil and snaps on over the blades was partially popping off when I was shaving. I have to squeeze the sides together to get it to stay on and, needless to say, it's a nuisance to shave. I bought this razor because I sometimes just don't have the time to wet shave and to have something to take with me to work so I can touch up places on my face where my beard grows really fast. Until this problem with part of the head trying to pop off started, I was very pleased with the razor, but for this to start after only a couple of months is ridiculous. I can't return the razor to the vendor for a refund because it's been over 30 days. The razor is under the manufacturer's warranty, however, so I'm returning it, hopefully for a full refund. I rather expect, however, that Remington will just offer to replace it. I don't want another one that's probably going to do the same thing, though. I just want my money back. VERY disappointed in this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noisey motor The motor is advertised as quiet but it is actually somewhat loud. The cover is tricky to remove without pulling out the cutters. Other than that, the 7500 gives a good shave and is easy to hold and to clean. It works well as a travel shaver or home shaver. I plan to use this one a long time.
