Rated 5 out of 5 by from heat protective glove I bought the half glove with curling iron from competitor and wish I had purchased the Remington curling iron with full glove. You really need a full glove so as not burn the last two fingers that can't help touching the iron. So I was glad to see I could order the full glove from Remington on line. Now I can curl away with no burns.

I did a lot of research on heat resistant gloves - I have had many hand surgeries and finger surgeries and taking care of my hair has been nearly impossible for me for years... I have purchased many appliances such as hot rollers, and all the rest but the common problem for me was burning my fingers on the appliance -- I looked at a lot of gloves and they were too expensive, too bulky, or had missing fingers (what's that about?) and I chanced upon this glove and it was thin and affordable for me so I ordered two. I could not be more pleased - I can feel no heat through the gloves and they are not bulky so you can use them easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for A particularly nasty curling iron burn on my hand prompted me to look for some protection. This glove was just what I needed. The price is right and it does a good job of protecting my hand. I can even hold the hot curling iron wand if needed without a burn. Best of all, it is not bulky. I'm very pleased with this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from don't "get burned" being new to using a curling wand, I was very aware of getting burned. So to avoid that, I purchased a Remington wand that came with a "thermal glove". It's a glove, not sure about the thermal part. I got burned right through it. needless to say, the wand and the glove are getting returned, and now I have aloe on my finger. Not happy at all with this.
