Now that I'm older (75) and my beard has gone grey, I am able to use an electric razor without leaving a 5 o'clock shadow. This has been a great answer to a quick shave and it is portable and easy to use. I still do a wet shave 2-3 times a week for a smoother feel. The only problem that I have had is with the screen coming loose after about 5-6 months of use and not finding an available replacement. Fortunately the replacement cost of the razor isn't that excessive.

I recently had a joint replacement and was placed on a blood thinner. This included a restriction on wet shaving with a blade; cut/bleeding risk. I needed an inexpensive electric razor for 30 days. This thing works great. Got rid of several days stubble in about 3 minutes. When I go back to wet shaving, I'll clean this little gem up and remove the batteries (I had a competitor's camping razor from the 60's that got ruined from a leaking battery) and keep it for future use. Great product at a good price. Thanks Remington.

Who hasn't slept in and shot out the door only to realize in the rear-view mirror that you look like a hobo? I picked one of these up, threw in rechargeable AA batteries and put it in the glove-box. That was more than a year ago. I use it 3-4 mornings per week, and always get a thorough but fast shave. The best part is, unlike the As Seen On TV shavers, this one takes thick stubble on, and has never burned my skin. Definitely 5 stars!

You must take into effect the brand you use, whether or not you leave the batteries in continuously or remove them when not in use, and how often you shave. We suggest you keep an extra set of batteries with your shaver to be sure you always have back up.
