After 20 years of trial and error, i have another Triple Foil In 1993, after seeing a Victor Kiam commercial on TV for the Remington Triple Foil shaver, I went out and bought one at Revco. The quality of the F-5790 is far superior to the one I bought in 1993 and I'm glad to have found it. The shave is incredibly close and comfortable. Once again, Remington has built a high quality razor that will stand the test of time. PS, notice how long the batteries last in all Remington products. Unbelievable. May 15, 2013

Good features and performance, not so good maintenance issue I really like the overall performance of the razor. Gives good clean shaves. What I don't like is the foils wearing out so often and even that would not be too bad except I have not been able to find where to buy just the foils. You always get stuck buying the foil with blades for way more money than you really have to spend. May 14, 2013

Good value Overall this is a decent razor of the several Remington's I have had (none are nearly as good as the discontinued MS3-3700). The protective cover is awkward and falls off, and the trimmer does not extend far enough. However, it is comfortable to hold, keeps it charge and doesn't sound like a small lawn mower, as the MS3-2700 does. I have no idea what benefit there is to the flexible head design, but it doesn't seem to be a hinderence, either. May 9, 2013

This product is a great value I am very very satisfied with my F5790 for the comfort of the shave I get with it, and the way it fits my hand. I don't see a problem with the sound, it's no louder than any other shaver I've ever had (a couple of triple head and double foils) during my shaving experiences. The foil cover is not the best fit and no case came with it, but I have cases that it will fit in for travel so that isn't a problem. I guess I would just have to say I'm very happy with my investment, and the shave I get....very close ..leaves my face and neck soft,.........and it's easy to clean after shaving. May 3, 2013

Positive results with the F5790 mens' shaver The Remington F5790, for me, approaches the ideal for an electric shaver. Ergonomically, it is easy to hold and maneuver without irritation to the skin. I can even shave areas on my neck without the severe irritation I get with some other shavers. It is affordable and is easy to use for traveling. Most Remington shavers have been quite loud but the F5790 has been relatively modest in its noise. While not quiet, it is an acceptable level of sound. It is easy to clean. If there is a weakness it is that no carrying case came with it. Fortunately, I had an old case that worked. Overall, shaving with the F5790 is a satisfying experience. April 30, 2013

SWITCH CONCERN THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD IS THE LOCATION OF THE ON OFF SWITCH. I KEEP SHUTING IT OFF. MY OLD RAZOR MUST HAVE BEEN IN A BETTER POSITION TO ALLOW ME TO HANDLE THE RAZOR WITHOUT SHUTING IT OFF. IT HAD A BOTTON INSTEAD OF A LARGER SWITCH. OTHERWISE IT WORKS GREAT. April 27, 2013

Lesser quality I bought the exact same Remington as last time because the sale price was so low, it wasn't worth replacing the cutter and screen. Since my last purchase a couple of years ago, this one is noticeably cheaper. Seems like the last one might have been made in the US and this one in China or some 3rd world country. It works but the parts feel cheaper and they didn't even include an inexpensive bag to hold the shaver and wire. The cover that protects the screen is poorly engineered so it barely fits. I don't feel like I'm getting the same clean shave I used to get. I might try another brand next time. April 20, 2013
