I bought this product for my husband who is over seas. He loves it and it is the only razor he will use now. It holds its charge very well, and it shaves really close. He says that he only has to go over his face one time with it because it shave so great. That is a good thing two because he has to be ready to go pretty fast in the mornings. Buying this has saved us so much money because we do not have to buy disposable razors any more. My husband and I would recommend this razor to everybody. It is a great investment, and it is very inexpensive.

This shaver gives a close comfortable shave. It's electric so the shave is not as close as a razor, but it definitely gets the job done. No pulling or tugging. Maintenance is easy, and battery life is outstanding. I use this shaver typically 4 times a week, and I didn't need to recharge the battery for about two months. This shaver replaced an electric I bought a couple of years ago, and the Remington is far superior. This is a great value.

would like to know if the 4790 and 4790-G are the same?

Reason I ask is there is about a $20 difference in price. The "G" is much more expensive. Also, do they take the same parts?
