I was replacing a different Remington trimmer which I thought wasn't the best. But compared to this thing, it was.

STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I wish I would've read the reviews before I wasted 60 bucks on this thing.

After the first charge the trimmer will only last about 1 minute before dying.

The touch screen also doesn't work right. It will randomly pick what you want.

Waste of money! I am done with Remington.

This thing is bad. Poorly designed and does not work properly. The battery will randomly go from full to completely dead in a matter of seconds if not plugged in. Do not buy this. You will regret it.

I bought this to replace the previous generation, the adjustable beard trimmer with the wheel on the back (which is the best product for beards period) and as soon as I used this trimmer I was disappointed immensely. The guard is horrible, it pulls and misses hair and the touch screen display is either extremely too sensitive or you need a hammer to make it work. Never once was I able to make it move in increments of .1 it took as long to trim my beard as it did to get the correct height selected. And lastly the battery last's long enough to get ONE time over in so you better not miss a spot. Overall horrible horrible trimmer, save the money and go with the cheaper cousin and you'll thank yourself as will your beard.

I ordered this a few weeks back and first they didn't send me all of my order. Not pleased to start. Then the trimmer says to fully charge it the first use, so I did. Days into use, the trimmer doesn't hold a charge. Just dies in the middle of a shave. Doesn't run off of outlet power so you can't leave it plugged in and use it when it is dead. Bought a WAHL for half the price and works like a charm. Simplicity and reliability i was looking for that I did NOT find with this product whatsoever.

The first one I bought, the groomer wouldn't stay in place (even when locked), so they sent another one. The new one goes crazy when you touch any controls and will start going through all the settings and different speeds at the same time. I am not sure how long this product has been out, but the touch screen is not working. It is also very expensive for a cheap plastic top. I am sending it back and not purchasing another one from Remington, sorry. Very nice customer service though :)

I find this to be a good trimmer! At first the touch control was a little tricky but after using it and playing with it a little I figured it out. Adjusting the length works well and is very precise but you need to figure out how to move it. I found that it works opposite from the way that I expected.

Also, there are really only two pieces to this: The trimmer and the charger. Awesome. No more fooling around with 20 different attachments!

Very good product.

This is not the first Remington trimmer I've used. That said, it functions about the same as any other trimmer I've used. It seems to make easy work of trimming heavy beard which is good, but the real reason this trimmer is interesting is because of the interface, yes, interface. It is a finicky interface.

I've noticed that while trying to set the trim length, the power adjustment will occasionally change, not a big deal, but something. Also, it was a bit tricky to get the thing to stop at the length I wanted. Once I got that down though, making sure the trimmer was at the right length every time was easy as long as I remembered the number.

The function lock is good, it makes accidental changes less likely. As a stubble trimmer, you can get it pretty close. Maybe even close enough to go into work depending on the thickness of your beard.

All in all, a decent trimmer. Not sure of the gimmick is worth the price tag though, especially because no accessories or travel pouch were included.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Got this for my Son for Christmas. He fully charged the battery and used it.......ONCE. Now it will not even work plugged in? Are we doing something wrong, or is it just really defective?

Fine adjustment of blade

As advertised there are 175 different lengths that can be selected however when you tap the up/down buttons the blade doesn't move at .1 mm increments, or a consistent increment at all. Is there a way to fine tune the adjustment and move it more precisely?

How do i turn it off?

The product dooes not turn off, i hold the button down but i can only hold it down for so long until it resets. If i press it once it just stays on standby with the LED screen still on which evenyually turns off when the battery dies.
