It protects, moisturizes and lubricates your skin throughout the shave giving superlative razor performance and glide. Your face will be left smooth, supple and moisturized. For best results, and to keep your face in optimum condition, use this Kinexium Shave Oil as part of the King of Shaves PSP™ (Prime, Shave, Protect) regime.
• PRIME: Shave during / after warm bath or shower and wash your face with King of Shaves Face Wash or Scrub.
• SHAVE: Dispense one or two pumps of Kinexium Shave Oil onto hand and massage into wet beard. Wait a few seconds to let the oil prepare the stubble. Using a sharp blade, shave carefully in direction of hair growth taking special care around the sensitive neck area. Rinse the blade frequently.
• PROTECT: After shaving, pat skin dry (don’t rub), there’s no need to rinse the oil off. Finally, protect skin with King of Shaves Moisturizer or Balm.
• Pre-Electric: You can use Kinexium Shave Oil even if you prefer an electric shave, whether dry or wet/ dry! Simply massage just one or two drops of oil onto dry skin. Then wait 30 seconds and shave normally with your electric shaver. You will feel the difference, and your skin will definitely thank you for it!

I use it under shave gel but I've used it alone and it is equally as good. My skin is fair, dry and extremely sensitive to products. My beard is red, thick and "wiry". This product works! The original King of Shaves Shave Oil is apparently no longer available and I'm always concerned when a company changes a product that works well. I do prefer the packaging of the original Shave Oil - much more precise dispensing but this product is exceptional. Highly recommended.
