I’ve gone through so many trimmers before finally finding this one. This offers continuous high performance and cuts very cleanly. Just make sure to maintain it by brushing away hair/dirt after using it. Every 6 months you’re supposed to unscrew and clean the dirt inside and oil it. It’s all in the manual (which Remington puts on the website - thanks!). Only negative - they should include trimmer oil in the box.

One of the best I've ever bought. Survived multiple drops, and while it's been beaten up pretty badly over the *years*, this baby has held up nicely. Unfortunately, I lost the attachments, so I upgraded to the MB4550. We'll see how that goes.

I have had these for 3 years now with no problems until February this year. The battery finally died on me. To use the trimmers I have to keep them plugged in because the battery will not hold a charge for longer than 5 minutes. Other than this these trimmers have been the best that I have ever owned.

What is the min cutting length (mm length)

I am interested in buying MB1000 for trimming my beard. I would like to know what is the min cutting length with the blades directly (mm length. Range of length settings). I am looking for .5mm trimmer which give me 5 o clock look.

Also what is the difference between MB1000 and HC5550. Can I use HC5550 for my beard? How is mb1000 compared with HC5550 in terms of power?

Would have been better if all your products have this cutting length information.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Remington products. For the MB1000, without guard you can get around 0.5mm with blade, with guard there is a 3mm comb. The HC-5550 is more powerful, it has larger motor, but MB-1000 is still an excellent product . Please feel free to call customer service for further assistance.

Difference between Mb-900 vs Mb-1000

I was just wondering what is the difference between the mb-900 and Mb-1000 they look exactly the same to me did they just update the model #??? Also i have a problem where my combs never fit my mb-900 perfectly they jump off on the right side always does anyone else experience this?
