I don't what they did to wring more power from the same little battery without decreasing it's lifespan but let me say this . . WOW. The difference is like Popeye eating spinach. If the thick bush of hair that used to grow from your head now grows from your ears and nose (yuck), then help is here. Do you have eyebrows that scare eligible single women, pets and children? Nose hairs that look like a wet poodle stuck in the doggie door? Those days are done! What a beautiful job of quickly mowing through the dense patch of timber-hair located in the southern button region of the chin. Under tremendous stress, I expected to see the little motor cover smoking with sparks and flames shooting out. But no, the MPT 3500 stays cool to the touch, ready for the next follicle encounter. My only suggestion is: Lean forward when using to keep the hair “pepper” from falling on your shirt and grossing people out when they meet you face to face.

this is the 2nd one i have purchased. the 1st one lasted years. blades stayed sharp. very gentle on your skin while trimming. easy to use and easy to clean. also you can't beat the price.

I love this product, My mother is in a nursing home, this product is gentle to the skin and the ladies do not fee like to feel like they are being "shaved" like a man, This trimmer takes care of fine facial hair very easy. It does not pull, or hurt, I purchased 6 of them for the staff at the nursing home so each wing, the beauty shop and the bath aides could keep all the little ladies looking pretty, It was very cost effective, less than $10.00 each, I give a BIG thumbs up for this product and so does everyone else that has used it.

This product is terrific, when it works. Often times it just refuses to turn on, even with fresh batteries. This is true for both units I bought. When it works, it;s a miracle worker.

The trimmer performs very well and does exactly as described. I really like the performance. The manufacturing quality is very filmsy and cheap. I would be willing to pay $5 or $8 more for the same product but manufactured with better materials that would last a while. Right now I am fearfull at any point its going to break.

First, bear in mind that this is a cheap trimmer.

The body is rickety, in general, and seems like you could easily pry it apart. It runs on one AAA battery (easily installed/changed).

I used it to trim my moustache, edge my sideburns, and [gasp] tried trimming my nose hairs for the first time. Overall, I'm pleased with its performance. The two different sized blades are a nice feature, and both are relatively comfortable used directly on your face (as comfortable as an economically-priced trimmer can be), and the trimmer attachment works well on both blades. It also comes with a cover for the trimmer head (a disguise, perhaps?), which makes it look like some sort of writing utensil, or something more unassuming than a trimmer, which is nice if you ever need to to trim periodically throughout the day.

The cons: it's not a sturdy design. It's cheap, and thus cheaply made. I wouldn't consider this an investment, since it's not likely to last all that long (if you use it regularly). If you just need a quick trim, or aren't looking to spend a lot of money on a trimmer, you could certainly do worse than this.

I got this trimmer about 2 weeks ago, to replaced my other Remington trimmer. This trimmer is way better, smaller, and easier to use The smaller head make this trimmer more comfortable to use

Love this trimmer! It is great for trimming eyebrows, mustache, beard, nose and ears. Use it daily! Great price! In the past year I have had to buy 3 of them and my last one just died. Probably will not purchase another one due to that it only last for about 4 months. Very sad because it works so well. I am sure other companies have the same thing. Only reason that I wouldn't recommend it to other people because it doesn't last.
