After using a cheapo groomer for a couple of years that didn't work very well I read the reviews of this one and purchased it online.

All I can say is that it does everything it's supposed to do and makes any personal grooming job easy.

I bought this as a body trimmer and I think it's terrible! It feels like it's struggling to keep on going and none of its settings do any body trimming unless you just take out the plastic blade and for that you might as well shave. Do not buy this.

Owning several body hair trimmers before, I was a little skeptical of this one. After charging it fully, I decided to give it a try, and boy was I happy about the results. I have been nicked by other trimmers, and this one trimmed really close, with no nicks to speak of. The extendable handle is comfortable, and the wireless design is really nice. The guard doesn't seem to allow a very close cut, as when trimming a mustache, but other than that, it's terrific. Two thumbs up.

BHT650 Back & Body Extendable Groomer

The button on the sliding handle broke after only a week of use. The handle still locks in the extended position but it does not lock anymore in the retracted position. I would think the locking mechanism should have been a little more durable.

I got this groomer and was blown away by how quick and easy it was to do my back. It didn't pull or scratch me up, it was smooth and the extendable handle made it very easy. It cuts amazingly close to the skin just barley have any stubble and you can use the foil razor if you want it any closer. This is a great product for guys who want to stop bothering there wives or anyone else to shave there backs. Best trimmer I have ever tried thanks remington.

I have tried all the body groomers out there in the market and this is the best groomer ever. It's extendable and it doesn't pull your hair out like the other groomers which really hurts and you will not end up getting wounded like you just got mauled by a polar bear if you use this product. It trims close to the skin and can be used anywhere on the body. I've been using it for over an year and will not use any other groomer ever again. I bought a couple so that even if Remington stops making them, I'll have them just in case one of them stops working.

No Replacement Foils

You WILL in fact need to buy a new one when the foil wears out.
Remington no longer makes the replacement foils neither for the BHT650 nor the BHT600. It's too bad because the 650 and 500 were very good groomers.

The fact that foils are no longer available forces me to buy my next
groomer from another manufacturer, one that actually supports their
products.

This unit, as packaged for the United States use, has a 110 volt plug. The company may offer a 220 volt model, but I am uncertain of that.

The groomer is cordless. It has a cord that is used to charge the unit when on stand-by. It also comes with an extended handle and an adjustable guard. There is also a smalll squeeze container of mineral oil to lubricate the blades.
