This video demonstrates the cleaning and replacement of parts for the Remington Foil Shaver Model MS-900.

Cleaning

The MS-900 comes with a cleaning base.  Use the cleaning base as directed in your user manual (link to manual).

Install New Cutters

  1. Remove the shaver head assembly by squeezing on both side buttons and pulling away from the shaver body
  2. Tap the stubble from the foils, cutters, and hair pocket. You may want to use a cleaning brush to sweep any loose hairs from the cutters and hair pocket.
  3. Hold the head so that you have access to the top.
  4. Hold the head assembly by the ends.
  5. Gently press down on both ends of the screen assembly to release from the head assembly
  6. Insert the new screen assembly into the bottom of the head assembly and press down until both ends snap into place. The angle of the screens should match the angle of the sides of the top housing.
  7. Snap each new cutter into the top of drive shaft by applying slight pressure on the center of each cutter. DO NOT push on ends of cutters as this may bend them and reduce effectiveness.
  8. Place the head assembly on the shaver and press until it snaps into place.
  9. Remove the shaver head assembly by squeezing on both side buttons and pulling away from the shaver body
  10. Remove the shaver head assembly by squeezing on both side buttons and pulling away from the shaver body
