The only problem with this shaver is that the foils do not last long. I have had this shaver less than a year and I have replaced the foils twice.
The first time I just ordered a whole new shaver on Amazon because it was cheaper than buying the replacement heads. Now I am back and it will cost over $25.00 again. These foils are not found in stores as far as I know because I have been looking.
This is like buying a printer...you get them at a good price, but in the end they cost more because of replacing the ink cartridges all to often!
Very frustrating to say the least.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It looked like the only option for a replacement but it didn't work. Needed an easier way to know what production is correct.

Like make I was hesistant to purchase this shaver. Like others stated, the foil needed to be replaced within 3 months and I don't even use it daily. It did take some getting use to and now that I have the foil needs replacing. Only to see its pretty pricey to replace. Won't purchase this shaver again !

I was skeptical in buying this shaver as I have purchased other electric shavers in the past and have been disappointed. Razor stubbles really irritate me and this shaver has cured my stubbles. I have been using the Smooth & Silky for 5 months now and all I can really say is that it surpasses my expectations! This shaver has saved me money on buying disposable blades which I used one per week. It did take a little time to get used to but so worth it! I have only used it dry, after a shower and cannot comment on in the shower. I can even skip a day of shaving! :)

The foil tore on the 2nd use of the shaver. Unfortunately, replacement parts cannot be purchased except for the cutter & foil as joint purchase. If it were more reliable, wouldn't have to repace the foil so soon.

Replacement foil/blade for WDF-3000

Hi there! I'm trying to find a replacement foil/blades for my WDF-3000 but I can't seem to find which set will fit with it. I was looking at SP-360 but it only lists the 3500/3600 as being compatible. Can you help me find the right one? Thanks!

Thank you for contacting Remington. Unfortunately the replacement part for this shaver is no longer manufactured. The part you would need for the WDF-3000 is the SP-118.

Typically on average they last approximately 4-6 months, but it is normal to notice tears in them sooner than this. This all depends on a number of factors, for instance, how often the person shaves, the amount of pressure applied, and the courseness of the hair.
