If you're trying to remove the battery solely for recycling purposes, our suggestion is to hit the handle with a hammer to break the unit apart and retrieve the battery. I am going to use PG520 in India which has a 240V supply for which I will have to use a converter to match the groomer's input of 120V. I need to know the wattage of this machine to buy an appropriate convertor or invertor.

This is in continuation to my previous question which is 'I am going to use PG520 in India which has a 240V supply for which I will have to use a converter to match the groomer's input of 120V. I need to know the wattage of this machine to buy an appropriate convertor or invertor.' Answer to this question was an advice not to use a converter for this model of trimmer.
If so, does it mean this product can be used only with a direct 120V input current? Can't be used in other countries like India where the supply is with 240V? Please advise the best method to use this product in a 240V supply?
