Replacement blades were so dull that I put old blades back in to get better shave. Old blades were originals and were 2 years old.

I have been buying these replacement cutters for several years. They have recently changed the design, lessening the number of cutters by about half. Much louder shaving, and not as good performance either.

Easy to install as per instructions.

After about two weeks of use to give the replacement a chance, I would say that I am somewhat disappointed in the replacement blades. It takes a little more effort on my part to get the job done and even then after about four hours, it seems that the smoothness of a fresh shave is gone.

Just doesn't quite get me through the work day.

I probably will not order replacement blades again. I will opt to buy the lower priced Remington Shaver for under $30 dollars .It performs well (I have one) and when it gets dull, I will just buy another like it.

Shopped in several local stores for this product but could not always find this specific replacement head. When I did find one it was more expensive then on this website. I'm very satisfied with the product and how easy it was to come to the Remington website and find what I needed.

Is this the replacement for my DA-407?
The foil is a different configuration than mine. SP-62 Microscreen 2 blade is 1/4" smaller than the original ? I have also seen a Microscreen 2X.
Are these compatible?
