Screen and cutter delivery and performance great. However, removing the head guard invariably also removes the head; this was not a problem with the original head.

Best shaver ever. This is my fourth Remington shaver. I like a lot.
Two items would make it "a+".
1. Better plastic screen cover that stays on
2. Smoother edge on the trimmer

i HAVE used electric shavers since I began shaving , starting with my
dad's 1936 single head shaver. I have used every brand and this is the best shave ever.---period.

This razor performs well, gives a close shave and charges fast. The problem is the foil last about three to four months and is very expensive to replace, along with the foil is not carried in most stores.

The original blades and screen lasted nearly a year of being used almost every day, but they were not cutting nearly as well. The replacement blades made a tremendous difference. They work great!
I purchased replacement blades before from a different source and they wore out within a few weeks.

The shaver works well and is reasonably priced, which is why I recommend it. However, the screen has the shortest life span (less than one year) of any shaving screen I've used. I did not notice the holes in the screen until it began to irritate my face.

foil for f4790

I have the f4790 and get very few shaves before the foil breaks a hole in it. I have a very light beard and only need to shave every other day. I get about 2 charges on the razer befor the foil goes. This is becoming a very costly shaver..
I clean, very carefully after every shave. I use pre shave and press very lightly while using.
I even tryed purchasing the entire razer thinking perhaps the new foils that come with the razer were beter...
Perhaps quality control needs to be checked?

I have the F-4790 and need replacement foils. Do you sell just the foils or do i have to buy cutters as well? Where can I go for these

I had a Remington DA407 that I loved but could no longer find screens/cutters so I replaced it with the F-4790. Walmart sells the razor but does not currently have the replacment screens. I need to know where i can consistantly go to find these replacements, especially if Remington is "out of stock" .
