The XT- 100 is.... [and still is, the best shaver I've ever owned! It's light weight..as compared to my recent purchased Rem.[F5790]..which I use when I'm in a hurry...[it has 3 blades and foils]. The XT-100 fits perfectly in my hand...battery last a long time ....and replacement foil and blade is much less costly than the SF5790. Also a great shaver, but a bit bulky. My XT-100 is about 15 years old and has the same battery!! I would recommend both these shavers to anyone....Thanks for a great product Remington!!....Bill

I would just like to say that the foil and cutter are good. I wouldn't say that it is great. It does an adequate job for a foil razor. It will never replace a good razor blade shave, but when time is a factor, it does OK. As for value, I think that it is overpriced. The foil and cutter cost more than I paid for the razor. If I ever run across another sale on the complete razor, I will just buy two of them rather than having to buy replacement parts. $5 would have been a fairly decent price, but the ten dollars that I paid for the foil and cutter were a bit much.

I had to order a replacement grill and blade, because I demaged the grill which began to stratch. The replacements were easy to install. I used this product to maintain a crisp & clean baldhead. I really love, because its less abrasive to my skin as a razor.

Where can I get new Foils for my model F4790 ?

My old Remington works just fine but the foils are worn out. Neither Wal-Mart nor Walgreens in Rolla, MO, have replacements. What they have are too long.
My foils measure 4.6 centimeters. The store's replacements are about 4.9 Cm.
On the back of my razor it says CE P and some tiny letters that I cannot read.
Second line: 12V 400 mA
Third line: Made in China
Fourth line is a picture of a water faucet.
Fifth line: F4790

Please help me. George
