Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor workmanship product SP290 I've thrown out at least 3 sets of blades that lasted approx. 3-4 weeks.Finally I contacted customer service and they sent me 3 replacements. Just recently I sent back to customer service another 2 set of blades that are falling apart after just 3 weeks of usage. These blades are costing me money and even with the 3 sets of blades that customer service sent I'm still out money. Either you find out the problem and send me more replacements or I"m taking my business somewhere else!!!Customer rep who has been helpful is named Melissa This email better be responded to or else I'll never buy another Remington product again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more razor burn and bumps from the disposable razors and shaving foam. This way of shaving with the cheapest shaver and replacement cutters and foil has cleared my face up. I can use the dry disposable razor twice a week to get the stubborn few hairs that the electric shaver did not get. The replacement cutters and foil are kind of expensive compared to the whole shaver you purchase to start with though. Handle the cutters and foil with care because they are fragile. They last about six months then need to be replaced. I need to mail order this particular replacement cutter and foil instead of having the ease of going to the nearest department store to purchase them though. Thank you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from replacement foil and cutter for f4790 the replacement foil/cutter kit I received for this shaver was somewhat different than the original part. I thought it would be ok and have used it for a few weeks with acceptable performance, but noted that at times when pulling shaver foil cover off, the foil would sometimes come off with the cover. This was not really a problem until one of the times it happened the new foil got damaged by my fingers as I tried to catch it in mid air. This has now left me with again using the old foil and unwilly to spend the amount to buy another foil kit (can not justify the expense at this point.).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Put the Model number on the handle of your electric foil razors. e.g. F4 The major change Remington should make to its electric Foil shavers is to put the Model number on the handle of each electric Foil Shaver, so the owner can see what model he has.I recently had to reorder a replacement head and two foils for my F4 shaver and could not find the model number and had to search through the pictures on your web site and had to guess it was an F4790 razor,as I had lost my Use & Care Guide booklet.. Consequently I ordered the wrong replacement head and foils which I am returning. I am requesting you mail me a replacement Model F4 Use & Care Guide for ASAP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this product is over priced for how long it lasts It's a shame to me that Remington has so many other GREAT products and this one is a total flop, the problem is that the screen and cutters don't last long at all. I maybe get a month or so out of them and that's using the razor about every 3 days since my hair doesn't grow fast. So I feel the screen and cutters should be A LOT LESS MONEY because they wear out so fast it's pathetic. This is just a shame because I'm used to great products from Remington. I wish I never bought this in the first place because now I'm going to have to buy the replacement screen and cutters a lot sooner than other electronic razors would need to be changed. I don't have money to buy these replacement parts as often as I have to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from With periodic replacement of foil and cutters, this shaver gives endless quality shaves The replacement foils and cutters are a bit pricey, but they do give a quality shave each and every time. I recently replaced the rechargeable battery, as it was no longer able to take a full charge. The shaver now works as good as the day I bought it, many, many years ago; a testament to the quality of this product. The only improvement to make on this shaver, is to make replacement cutters for the shaver's pop-up trimmer, as it has dulled, and become useless some years ago. If I could buy replacement cutters for the pop-up trimmer, the product rating would be excellent !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from poor surface I received this razor as a gift. The screen broke after 6 weeks. The replacement was handled fine. I keep the cover on when not in use.My biggest complaint is that the plastic sides are rough on my face. I try not to press to hard but it does not seem to cut the whiskers unless I press down. When I do, the sides of the shaver head rub against my skin. I have always used a rotary head before. I will continue to use this razor and try to adjust since I just bought a new screen.I do think I should have been able to buy the screen without the cutters.Gene Childress

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This screen does not fit properly I've been using reminton electric razors for over 25 yearws, with great service and no problems with replacing screens and cutters. This time hiwever, I have a problem. The new screen casing snaps on OK, but when I turn the razor on, the screen casing vibrates loose and pops up on the rear side about a 32nd of an inch, pulling the screen away from the cutters. I make do by holding it in place or pushing it back down and waiting for it to pop up again,, I know when that happens because the sound changes.You might want to check your QA tolerances for this part.
